About The Founder
Dr. Mansur is the founder and Executive Director of the African Institute of Development Professionals(iDevPro-Africa), DevProNet International Community Development Initiative, non-for-profit research and SBCC-focused organization, and Co-Founder of M-SPACE in Nigeria, an organization with 2 million dollar grant from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to support the government with technical support in the area of Family Planning. Dr. Mansur leads iDevPro-Africa, FEM’s and iED-SBC’s local implementation partner, and is responsible for stakeholder engagement, government relations, radio negotiations, support content creation, development of and production of radio materials, transmitters monitoring, and logistics. He also provides leadership, management, and coordination of the field team for research work to deliver quality results.
Before creating iDevPro and partnering with FEM, he worked with World Health Organization (WHO), Pathfinder International’s Community Participation for Action in the Social Sector (COMPASS), FHI360’s Global HIV/AIDS Initiative in Nigeria (GHAIN), Safe Blood for Africa Foundation, Marie Stopes International Organization Nigeria (MSION), Palladium International’s Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Technical Support Unit Project, University Research Co (URC), and UNICEF.
Dr. Mansur is a Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) Advocate, leading to an award and full sponsorship of the Sustainable Development Goalkeepers’ event in New York several times (September 2017, 2019, & 2022) as a Goalkeeper awarded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Dr. Mansur holds a Ph.D. in Public Health, a Master’s Degree in Public Health Medicine for the Tropics, a Master’s Degree in Health Economics, a Master’s Degree in Development Studies, an MBA in International Healthcare Management, an MSc in Global Health Policy, Leading Innovation and Change, and an in-view Ph.D. in Leadership and Strategic Studies.
